About Daniel J Clare
Dr Daniel J. Clare. ND. Fel. ANTA. Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner - Acupuncturist. Registration# CMR0001725424. Mas. Cl. Prac. (Comp.Med.). LLB. GDLP.
I began my career as a Complementary & Alternative Medicine (CAM) Practitioner at age 19, providing Shiatsu and Oriental Medicine treatments in a small country town. Since that time I have attained Degrees in Naturopathy, Acupuncture, Western Herbal Medicine, Homoeopathy, Remedial Therapy, Bioregulatory Medicine and in 2013 a Master's Degree in Clinical Practice, majoring in evidence based CAM.
In June 2016 I attained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Southern Cross University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (GDLP) from Australian National University and was admitted to practice as a Lawyer in the Supreme Court of Queensland in August 2016 and the High Court of Australia in July 2017.
I currently provide legal generalist services to NGOs, while providing legal consultancy to private clients alongside academic consultancy - curriculum and compliance services to the CAM Industry.
I also continue to combine active clinical practice with ongoing academic research and publication. This has created a focus for me of providing sustainable and inclusive health care for our growing community and its complex health needs.
I firmly believe CAM is a valuable part of our wider health and medical system and when practiced through evidence based principles fills many gaps in standard care. Safe, cost effective and patient-centred Complementary Medicine is my focus and my commitment to myself and my patients.
